just watched this movie. thought it was done very well. was especially impressed with the balance portrayed by michael moore. i expected it to be mainly political propaganda, but it wasn't. showed needs of people, with no preference to political parties. you know, i heard the other day (on fox news) that some of his statistics or information was incorrect. i would like to know what they were referring to... because even if some things were a bit remiss or not quite as presented... i don't think it could/would erase the message so clearly and intelligently presented.
never thought i'd say this, but kudos michael moore.
recently saw (i know, i'm late)...
the simpsons - liked it. more like the old episodes used to be
ratatoullie - loved it. will be a disney classic
the golden compass (second viewing) - even better the second time

have no desire to see...
the new will ferrell movie i can't even remember the name too but took too much time previewing at the theatre
hubby's reviews (these also go under my 'have no desire to see list')
kingdom - pretty good movie
shoot em up - not worth the dollar rental
rush hour 3 - didnt really like it, but didn't like the first or second either. all the same
i had to go to the place (walmart) to get some medicine and they had some decent movies marked down to $3.98. widescreen included. i bought 4. they're not all that new, but a couple i've wanted and a couple that should be nice additions to my collections. might be worth checking your local store out ~ if you collect dvds like i we do.
i bought:
- the hours (an excellent movie)
- the prize winner of definance, ohio (a good film)
- the chumscrubber (ok, i've never seen it, but the cover appealed to my inner x-er), and
- world trade center (for historical reasons, if nothing else. hubby thought it was a bit lame,i liked the positive spin)
