this morning i was awoken by a call from my best friend, who lives over a thousand miles away from me, in tears.
her cat, maya, had died sometime last night and she found her this morning. maya has been with her for years and just recently, she (my friend) had found out and started treating her for diabetes. my friend lives alone and is a wonderful and generous lady. she gives so much that it pains me to see her hurt.
if you can, or are so moved to.... please leave a small message of hope, cheer, condolence, or whatever you feel might be appropriate at a time like this on her vox. it's jeannie .
