hp's new font reminicent of nightmare before christmas and marketing strategy just a nightmare.

i am not getting hp's new marketing strategy. first with the overdone gwen stefani ads and pics. now with "the computer is personal again" written in (forgot the name) that nightmare before christmas font. if they are trying to key in to the new global creativity facilitated by sites such as youtube and the like, then, in my opinion, they should play that card and only that card. it's like "ok this isn't working" so let's try "this", which doesn't create a consistent image for the company or what they are trying to do. first, consumers are supposed to be creative like gwen. ??? what's so creative about an all too known singer whose image is sold for profit? if they are going with "the computer is personal again" then perhaps they would be better off to show real people doing real things - more like Jones Soda. just my little opinion. as a consumer. someone who has to look at these ads and someone who has spent over 15 years in the marketing and ad business.

hp - get a clue... it's not working. decide on something and stick with it.
